The fast pace of the world we live in makes us age faster; therefore, it is important to retain our youthful vigor. It is with passion and energy that we can work towards keeping ourselves happy and healthy as we enjoy our lives even as we age.

We all want to know how to remain young forever, how to defy aging and retain that youthful joy, and at the same time remain passionate and energetic.

Here are six easy-to-remember steps to keep you young. Follow these steps regularly to ensure you remain young at heart, body, mind, and soul.

Step One: Imagine yourself leading a life that is dynamic. Picture yourself in various situations that young, healthy, and successful people participate in. It can be a fun-filled night on the town, a game of football, or romancing with the person you love…it can be anything. Visualize yourself in youthful action, making sure these are fun yet healthy images.

Step Two: The pictures you create for yourself create your reality by producing specific effects that you have in your mind. If you think you are becoming old and not as energetic, visualize yourself enjoying a dance in the disco that reflects back to a time of your youthfulness. If you are unhappy with how your body has aged and want to look youthful again, picture yourself with smooth, supple skin…and then thank your body for what you DO have.

Step Three: See yourself as extremely alert, agile, athletic, and youthful. Imagine yourself moving and performing as freely as when you were a teenager or in your early twenties.

Step Four: Exercise your mind and body. Have a good state of mind and make good decisions for yourself about yourself, your life, your work, and your health. If you are suffering from an ailment or have just slowed down in your life, change the way you think. Too many of us blame things on getting older. Yet why do some people stay youthful as they age and others don’t?

Here are some things you can do to keep your mind and body healthy:

  • Reduce stress in your life. Get a massage, eat healthily, exercise, and take time to pause and breathe. Seek out a hypnotherapist.
  • Make time for things that are fun. Create a list of activities you like and make sure you spend a little time each day doing something you enjoy.

 

Step Five: Incorporate all your senses: sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch. Direct your mind to improve each of them. Picture and imagine yourself with clearer vision, with sharper hearing, with an enhanced sense of taste and smell, and becoming more sensual to touch. Practice developing your senses daily, and you will surprise yourself as you become more aware of everything surrounding you.

Step Six: Visualize yourself in a sea of endless energy. The warm water gently caresses and invigorates your skin. Imagine enjoying yourself as you swim through the refreshing water. Stretch your legs and push through the water as the energy envelops you. Come out of the water and dry yourself with a large, soft towel, feeling refreshingly young again. You are now filled to the brim with liveliness! You also feel that the energy in you has changed your entire being. You are full of life–resonating with vigor and vitality. You feel young in heart, body, mind, and soul.

Practice these steps at least two to three times a week for an indefinite period of time. By doing so, you will see an improvement in your life, health, and well-being. Your aim is to preserve your body by using the power of creative visualization (a form of focused inner attention which is also known as self-hypnosis). This is a lifetime program aimed to evoke your youthful vigor–always, anytime, and anywhere.
