Course Description: This level of the curriculum is the building block to clinical hypnotherapy designed to prepare highly qualified clinical hypnotherapists who can support and guide clients in creating and achieving desired behavioral and physical changes. This training will address an array of client issues along with advanced strategies in dealing with one’s mental and physical well-being, including pain management and medical hypnosis. The ultimate goal is for the hypnotherapist to learn how to help guide and coach their clients into creating their ultimate desired outcome. Techniques learned will greatly enhance one’s experience of life and create success.
Course Goal and Objectives: Hypnosis is one of the most powerful, effective, and yet often misunderstood methods of personal improvement and change. Students will learn effective approaches for employing hypnosis by facilitating mind/body communication. This class will explore the principles and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy in conjunction with holistic health theory which addresses the person as a whole. These natural, client-centered therapies enable people to move beyond limitations, gain more self-confidence, reduce stress, and even pain. Hypnotherapy has gained worldwide recognition for its gentle, neutral, yet powerful approach to changing beliefs and behavior.
