Expand your mind's power.

Love yourself first, because that’s who you’ll be spending the rest of your life with.

A well known speaker started off his seminar of 200 attendees by holding up a $20 bill, and asked, “Who would like this $20?” Hands rose up quickly.

He proceeded by saying, “I am going to give this $20 bill to one of you but first, let me do this…” He proceeded to crumple the bill. He again asked, “Who wants it now?” Still the hands went up in the air.

“Well, what if I do this?” And he dropped it onto the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. It was now crumbled and dirty; he picked it up and asked; “Now who wants it?” Still the hands went into the air.

The speaker conclude with this; “My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.” He then asked everyone to think about their own self value…

When you feel deflated has the value of your self worth changed?

We’ve all had times in our lives when we feel as though things are crumbling and falling apart; or for some reason we’ve let people walk all over us by the decisions we make or due to specific circumstances… It’s important for you to still hold onto the value of your self worth. Just like that crumbled $20 bill, shake it out and brush it off, as it still holds great value, as do you.

Remember that no matter what has happened, or what will happen along your life’s journey, you will never lose your worth. Be true to yourself, know your purpose and acknowledge your sense of self, your true value.
Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have with others.
