Join us at our Open House Networking Social on Feb. 29th for an evening of demonstrations, laughter and fun.
Every 4 years on Feb. 29th we are given an extra day to play; as a result we’re adding a special segment to our program.
We have two topics for the evening. The first is on “How to influence with integrity.” We will present techniques on how our thoughts, words, and language patterns can affect our health, success, and reality.
The other topic will be on Laughter…”How is Your Laugh Life?”
You all know that the most organic form of laughter comes from a baby laughing and giggling. We can’t help but laugh along. It comes from our core.
As Certified Laugh Leaders Jill Knox and I will be leading the group in laughter. At first it may seem silly and forced, but if you allow yourself to play with it, you will surprise yourself as you begin enjoying the positive affects of this playful laughter. (More about Jill Knox below.)
BENEFITS OF LAUGHING–even for no reason!
1. Laughter is aerobic exercise. Some call it “jogging of the internal organs”.
2. Laughter creates social bonds.
3. Laughter can lower blood pressure.
4. Laughter is a stress-reducer.
5. Laughter allows a person to step away from a problem and re-group.
6. Laughter helps develop teamwork and creativity.
7. Laughter builds self-confidence in a social setting.
8. Laughter can help reduce pain.
9. Laughter puts FUN in daily living and provides a feeling of well-being.
10. EVERYONE CAN LAUGH!!!!!
Physically, laughter strengthens the immune system, reduces pain, improves the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, equalizes blood pressure, aides with digestion, and so much more. Many of the physical benefits are the result of the increased oxygen we take in when we laugh. Laughing helps to clear out stale air and increase the oxygen flow to all the cells in our body and brain. Laughing for one minute has the same cardiovascular benefit as ten (10) minutes on a rowing machine (20 seconds = 3 minutes).
Emotionally, laughter is one of the best antidotes to stress, anger, worry, and other negative emotions. It is virtually impossible to have negative emotions when we are laughing.
The Motivational Institute of Hypnotherapy (MIOH) invites you to our Open House Networking Social on Feb. 29th. This will be an inspiring evening complete with demonstrations, wine, appetizers, networking, raffle prizes, and good company! We will also be sharing information about our next training in Therapeutic Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), the Language of the Mind.
There will also be plenty of time to network with other health care professionals, holistic health care workers, and with others who are generally interested in the power of positive thinking.
A great way to market your self is to donate a product service or item to our raffle. When your prize has been won, you will get the chance to share about your business and services. Bring plenty of business cards.
Please join us for a night of festivities, demonstrations, fun, food and laughter. Let us know if you are coming. Share this invitation with your friends!
