What great things would you attempt if you knew you couldn’t fail?
As a partner in your success, I’d like to launch this day as another day of higher achievement and introduce you to today’s power thought, which helps to better understand the meaning of our words.
We’re going to begin by deleting the word failure from your vocabulary.
I want to tell you a story about my oldest son, Aaron. One of the gifts he received for his tenth birthday was a large hardback dictionary from his aunt, my sister. Although Aar on was pleased with the gift, he immediately asking me if he could cross out the word. I proceeded to say yes, to the puzzlement of my sister, as she was wondering why someone would cross out a word.
This is what I had always told my sons, “You never fail in any situation if you take the knowledge and wisdom from each experience and apply it to your everyday life.” The lessons and wisdom gleaned from each experience becomes valuable tools in the actions we take in life.
Never let your failures be wasted.
Begin today, by giving yourself a special gift by crossing out the word failure from your vocabulary and from your life, as it no longer belongs to you. Failure is an event, not a person.
Our words and thoughts create our actions and guide our lives. So, it’s important to remember that there are no true failures, only lessons if you take the wisdom from each situation and apply it to the next.
As you go about your day, realize that you no longer have any failures, only successes of valuable lessons from every experience. Become the director of your life’s journey, be kind to yourself…because where you go, there you are.
Take a few moments now to compliment yourself on something that you did today, something that was pleasing or productive that you were proud of, no matter how simple. Remember, praise yourself daily. I believe in you.
I believe in you, your partner in your success.
