Your Thoughts Create Your Reality…

We often look at habits as negative behaviors, yet we don’t always recognize the good habits and behaviors we do possess.

Our subconscious mind reruns the same information over 1500 times per minute. Therefore, if you have negative thoughts or limiting beliefs, you are reinforcing them, which eventually becomes a habit or behavior and perhaps manifests in your physical well-being.

Whenever you have a thought or feeling or even do something that isn’t congruent with your innate sense of happiness, it’s important to stop it immediately. I suggest saying either Stop, Cancel Clear, Quiet, Erase, or Delete those thoughts.

To change a habit, you have to change your beliefs…in order to change your beliefs, you have to change your habits.

Listen to some of these phrases people commonly use to describe what they are feeling: That breaks my heart; they are a pain in my butt; that just kills me; that tears me up inside; I feel like the world’s weight is on my shoulders; that gut-wrenching feeling; I need a break…

Let me address the last one: I need a break. A colleague and I were working on a project together, and during our many conversations, she would mention how stressed she was and that she needed a break. Three weeks later, she called from the hospital to tell me that she had manifested what she needed…she had broken her ankle.

Look over that list of phrases above and see what other things we perhaps create by our thoughts. It’s scary, but we can change that by stopping the rumination of negative thoughts and feelings. This poem describes it all…

I HAVE A LITTLE ROBOT

I have a little robot that goes around with me,

I tell him what I’m thinking and what I see.

I tell my little robot all my hopes and fears,

He listens and remembers all my joys and tears.

At first, my little robot followed my commands,

But after years of training, he’s gotten out of hand.

He doesn’t care what’s right or wrong or what’s false or true,

No matter what I try now, he tells me what to do.

It takes work, but we can change how our minds work, and hypnosis helps retrain our thought processes. You can also create new positive habits by saying yes to opportunities. Your thoughts create the habit. Therefore, by changing your thinking, you can change your reality.

Remember, you are the creator, writer, producer, director, and performer of your life’s journey. Make sure you create good habits of happiness and joy.
