Hi Everyone,
During this season we are often exposed to and or challenged with a cold or flu. Below are some the herbal suggestions and techniques to supporting your immune system. They’re easy to apply and are beneficial in enhancing vitality.
Techniques to support your immune system
THREE THUMPS FOR WELLNESS
Thymus Thump: (Tap or thump upper middle portion of your chest for about 1 minute or about 80 times.) The thymus thump helps if you are catching a cold, fighting infection or if the immune system is otherwise challenged. Stimulating the thymus also helps to:
- Boost the immune system
- Stimulate all of your energies
- Increase strength and vitality
Neuro-Lymphatic Reflex: (Massage in a circular motion your upper ribs on both the right and left sides of your sternum. Rub 5- 10 times. These points may feel tender.) The job of the neuro-lymphatic system is to keep the lymph system clear and flowing. By massaging these points toxins are moved out of the muscles, sending fresh energy through the body. If one’s lymph system isn’t flowing well one might feel ill, or have no energy at all. Rubbing the NLR points helps to:
- Increase energy level
- Balance blood chemistry
- Strengthen immune system
Spleen Meridian: This spot supports immune system by helping to determine whether the body will be able to metabolize particular foods, emotions, thoughts, energy or external influence. (Thump the lower sides of the ribs around 5 times.)
